How do you spend your hard-earned money?  Maybe you’re already disciplined with money and you can control what you spend and what you save.  If you’re like me, you know what you should do, but putting that into action isn’t always as easy as it sounds.  I’m working to make frugality part of my everyday life and do it in a permanent, life-changing way.

I’ve started this blog to share my thoughts on living a thrifty life.  I chose the title The Thrifty Life because it sums up my goal of living a frugal life and stretching every dollar I earn to gain the most value and enjoyment I can.

In order to find the keys to the thrifty life, I’ll be trying as many different techniques and strategies of money management and frugality as I can get my hands on.  I’m sure that not every tip will work for you, just like they won’t all work for me.  But the goal here is to provide you with a multitude of ideas and let you decide which path to follow.  And it is a path – after all this isn’t The Thrifty Minute – it’s The Thrifty Life.

So, thanks for joining me on this journey and let’s get started!

About the Author

My name is Mike Roberto and I’m a web developer and entrepreneur. I’ve been building websites and web applications for over a decade for bands, artists, small and large businesses, and universities.  After all that time I’ve decided to build something for myself.

This site is dedicated to helping you learn, share and promote new ideas and strategies for thrifty living.

I started the site in December of 2008, and while it’s still in its infancy, I’m working hard behind the scenes to add new content, like Thrifty Tips, Reviews and articles
